Riksha Distribution for Brick Kiln Workers – A Journey from Slavery to Freedom

At Abundant Life Ministries of Pakistan, our mission is to bring hope, dignity, and transformation to the most vulnerable communities. One of the most heartbreaking yet often overlooked groups in our society are the brick kiln workers, many of whom live in a cycle of poverty, debt, and exploitation.

Through our Riksha Distribution Program, we are offering these families a lifeline—a way out of bonded labor and into a life of freedom, self-respect, and sustainability.

Breaking the Chains of Generational Bondage

Brick kiln laborers often work under harsh conditions, trapped by debts that have been passed down through generations. They have no steady income, no job security, and little hope for change. With limited opportunities for employment outside the kiln, entire families remain stuck in this cycle.

By providing rikshas (manual and auto) to selected individuals, we empower them to step out of the kilns and begin earning a decent living through transportation services. A riksha is not just a vehicle—it’s a symbol of independence and a means of escape from a life of hardship.

Our Process

  • Assessment: We identify families most in need—those who are willing to work hard but lack the means.

  • Training & Support: Recipients are trained and supported to operate the riksha effectively and manage their earnings.

  • Follow-Up: We stay in touch to ensure long-term success and to celebrate their progress.

Real Impact, Real Stories

Every riksha given tells a story of hope restored. Fathers once forced to labor in brick kilns are now driving rikshas and sending their children to school. Mothers are seeing their families eat regular meals. Children are dreaming again.

These stories are not isolated—they’re multiplying, and you can be a part of it.

Partner With Us in Setting Families Free

You can help set a family on the road to freedom by sponsoring a riksha, supporting our mission, or simply sharing this cause with others. Together, we can turn tools of survival into vehicles of transformation.

“From the ashes of the kiln, hope rises on three wheels.”
